The workshops are a
fundamental part of the educational process of El Caracol are a response to the
necessity of a space for capacitating, where the youths that enter the
Transition house acquire knowledge , values and habits for a working life. This
is a lab oral exercise in a low-tech environment, which has a timetable and a
learning area, which facilitates the integration into the work force.
In this way the workshops
are areas where capacitating is carried out in a controlled environment with a
definite schedule and a defined number of participants, space and specified
material in order to establish both psychological and physical limits
In this way we have the
chance to observe and acompany the youths so as to avoid missing important
times, which require educational attention.
In this way the youths
acquire values, habits and advance in the program, these values include time
management, personal hygiene, recognition of hierarchies within business,
customer care, this simulate the youth’s initiative and results in a contact
improving of the product.
All of this is followed by
educators who are in charged of ensuring that each moment of work can become a learning opportunity.
The workshops have a study program with a chronogram which together with
the organization and infrastructure guarantee the operation, quality and
continuation brought to every workshop, different skills that the youths learn.

:::Bakery, we have space of production and another one where we display and sell our products.
:::La Letra Cafeteria, not only does it offer different types of coffee and biscuits, but also we organize shows, events, etc.
