The University Graduated educative Intervention
with street populations is directed to: psychologists, Anthropologists,
Teachers, Sociologists, Social Workers, compatible Lawyers and professionals on
the field of education, street educators, members of NGOs and governmental
organisms involved in the attention of the population that lives in the street.
We are convinced that the opportune
intervention, with innovating methods and materials, is closely bound with the
proffesionalization of the personnel who takes care of these populations; we
consider that a complex phenomenon as this it requires several levels of
intervention.
The Division of Continuous Education
of the Faculty of Psychology, has considered that the graduate educative
Intervention with street populations, is pertinent for the professional update
of psychologists and other professionals of compatible areas that respond to
the mission, vision and objectives of the division, since by means of this
graduate program, El Caracol AC offers a specialized educative service, of
quality that responds to the formation of necessities and qualification of the
people involved in the educative intervention with the population that lives
and/or works in the street.
The graduate distributes itself to
contribute to the formation of the personnel involved in governmental and
nongovernmental institutions in the attention of the street populations, as
well as for the specialization of professionals interested in the subject or
that already make an educative intervention with these populations.
On the other hand, a
interdisciplinary vision which allows an integral boarding with interventions
is promoted that responds indeed to the challenge that the phenomenon of the
population that lives in the street represents for the collective society.
In addition, one looks to offer to
the participants a deep knowledge on the phenomenon of the street populations,
conceptual and methodologic elements, as well as the educative practice with
street populations by means of the design and execution of a project with an
approach of rights. On the other hand, the pursuit of projects, in the
classroom and in the land, will facilitate the reflection and the construction
of knowledge from the educative practice.
Our general mission, the present graduated
establishes that the participants will analyze the phenomenon of the street
populations and will reflect on problematics that are associate to their way of
life, with the purpose of designing and orchestrating projects of educative
intervention with this population, from an approach of human rights.
